The 7^th academic meeting of the Department of Marine Biology took place at the University campus. It was attended by more than 80 PhD and MSc students, postdoctoral fellows, principal investigators, research fellows and scientists. Greetings were given by Prof. Lily Orland-Barak, Dean of Graduate Studies Authority, who emphasized the importance of outreach and the communication of science to nonscientific communities. The meeting included lectures by students from different research groups and two poster sessions, during which 43 posters were presented by the students. The winner of the Get Together logo competition was Barbara Muller, whose beautiful logo decorated the mugs for the meeting. At the end of the meeting, we celebrated the graduation of this year’s students and prizes were awarded to the three best talks and posters.
