This influence is based on their broad environmental, economic, and technological understanding of the overall marine space.
Graduates of the Marine Technologies Department will find employment in security-oriented engineering companies that focus on military marine issues, and in IT companies and start-ups developing sensors, data analysis tools, autonomic technologies, and more.
Graduates of the Marine Geosciences Department will find employment in the gas and oil industries, government research institutes (the Geological Survey of Israel, the Geophysical Institute of Israel, and the Israel Oceanographic and Limnological Research Institute), the Ministry of Energy, engineering companies, environmental consulting organizations, green/environmental organizations, government ministries, marine monitoring firms, and in a variety of maritime-oriented positions, academic research, and teaching.
