On 2 April, the Israel Geological Society Annual Meeting took place at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Department representatives – postdoctoral researcher Dr. Guy Lang (supervised by Prof. Yizhaq Makovsky) and Master’s degree students Mfoniso Otu (supervised by Prof. Nicolas Waldmann), Svetlana Lintser (supervised by Prof. Uri Schattner), and Aleksei Nelaev (supervised by Prof. Uri Schattner and Prof. Michael Lazar) – presented their research at the conference and answered the questions following their presentations. Participation in the conference allowed them to improve their presentation skills, share their research with professionals in the field of geosciences, and receive valuable feedback.
