Our research team is developing advanced algorithms for underwater target detection through multi-sensor data fusion – cutting-edge technology that will enhance the security of maritime infrastructure and protect marine ecosystems.
The UnderSec project focuses on developing innovative technologies to safeguard vessels, marine infrastructure, and marine ecosystems from illegal activities. The project integrates multi-modal sensors and advanced robotic tools to deliver underwater security solutions of the highest caliber.
Dr. Gal’s laboratory expertise in data processing and maritime algorithms is a vital component of this project, representing international recognition of the quality of research and development conducted at the School of Marine Sciences.
