Spring is in the air  and students from the Dr. Moses Strauss Department of Marine Geosciences (along with students from other departments) went for a three days trip to the Dead Sea to learn about the sediments and processes. The Dead Sea is a unique and pristine place on Earth in which several depositional processes can be learned, among them those occurring in the deep sea environment.
