“My time in the Department of Marine Geosciences provided me with a strong foundation to continue in the field of marine sciences. Both the school and my lab offered abundant opportunities for invaluable field experience, which enhanced my skills as both a scientific diver and researcher. In the classroom, the wide range of courses ensured that I gained a solid understanding of various fields of marine science. Additionally, presenting at conferences, both in Israel and abroad, as well as serving as a Teaching Assistant, was instrumental in honing my communication skills across different mediums. On a personal level, my advisor and the other professors I met along the way provided a fantastic support system, always willing to go above and beyond to offer assistance and guidance. The diverse experiences and strong support network at the Leon H. Charney School of Marine Sciences have been invaluable in preparing me for where I am today.”
