The “Paleoceanography” course at the Interuniversity Institute for Marine Sciences in Eilat (IUI) ended last week. The course is headed by Prof. Revital Bookman from the Dr. Moses Strauss Department of Marine Geosciences in collaboration with the IUI researchers.
Students from different universities were chosen to participate in a full week of lectures, lab analysis, snorkeling, diving and sailing on the institute research vessel all devoted to study the history of oceans. This year, six of our Israeli and international students participated in this highly intensive, but exciting course.
