Marine Biology Team Wins Prestigious Award for Seafood Safety Research
Charney School researchers are making waves! We are thrilled to announce that our marine biology researchers and students have won the Journal of Food Science’s prestigious Tanner Prize for the most cited articles of 2021.
Their important research was published in Toxicology and Chemical Food Safety and focuses on assessing heavy metals in the local Israeli seafood, and the exposure to humans through seafood consumption.
The research was conducted by Debi Ramon, Danny Morick, Peter Croot, Ran Berzak, Aviad Scheinin, Dan Tchernov, Nadav Davidovich, & Malka Britzi.
