Launching New Training Program for IDF Veterans and Reservists with Grant from the Israel Innovation Authority

The Charney School o has been awarded a prestigious grant from the Israel Innovation Authority, in collaboration with the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Haifa. This grant will allow us to launch a unique training program for IDF veterans and reservists, focusing on the blue economy, marine environment, and coastal sustainability.

This initiative is a significant expansion of our previous efforts to support ventures in the blue economy and marine sustainability. It reflects our ongoing commitment to addressing critical environmental challenges by fostering innovation and entrepreneurial solutions.

The program will provide participants with a combination of theoretical learning and hands-on experience, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to become leaders in marine and environmental innovation. Through this training, they will be empowered to develop green ventures and contribute meaningfully to both the Israeli economy and its social resilience.

In the wake of the “Iron Swords” war, many organizations have rallied to support those in need. We are proud to be part of this collective effort, and we appreciate the Israel Innovation Authority’s active role in driving such initiatives.

We are excited to be part of a passionate team that is dedicated to creating a better and more sustainable future for all. This program marks an important step in advancing the blue economy and strengthening Israeli society.
