Prof. Zvi Ben-Avraham Appointed Founding Governor of the Leon H. Charney School of Marine Sciences

This week, we had the honor of celebrating the appointment of Prof. Zvi Ben-Avraham as Founding Governor of the Leon H. Charney School of Marine Sciences.

Prof. Ben-Avraham – Israel Prize laureate, member of the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities, and pioneering scientist – founded the school and led it through its first decade, shaping it into a leading institution in marine science.
His vision, leadership, and unwavering dedication have inspired generations of researchers and helped define the future of marine science in Israel.
