Course Overview:

The primary objectives of this course is to provide the student with the
fundamental knowledge on the whole marine science discipline in a
comprehensive and holistic manner through participation in a series of
seminars given by exceptional scientists. The aims of the course is to
enlarge the students’ knowledge on state-of-the art research.


Topics:

Topics vary according to the invited lecturer. Topics cover the main
disciplines learned in the school.

At the end of the course students will be able to:

  1. Expand the knowledge an understanding of processes shaping and
    controllingthe marine environment.
  2. To comprehend the interaction between humans and the marine environment
    throughout history.


Requirements: Reports in case of absence.


Grading: 75% attendance.
