About
Prof. Yoav Lehahn is a faculty member at the Charney School of Marin Sciences since 2007. In his scientific work Yoav integrates in-situ measurements with remote-sensing data from satellites, airplanes and drones to to study marine systems at the interface between scientific disciplines. This approach is used to gather observational insights on various aspects of marine research, including plankton patterning and biogeography, role of the sea surface microlayer in the air-sea system, dynamics of jellyfish swarms, and circulation and ecology of the eastern Mediterranean sea.
