The Leon H. Charney School of Marine Sciences is a unique initiative that operates on a global scale and applies an interdisciplinary approach at high professional standards. The school is comprised of three complementary fields -its three departments- Marine Geosciences, Marine Biology and Maritime Civilizations. Each department specializes in a coherent set of disciplines, and together they cover the wide range of topics essential for understanding the complex marine systems.
