The course is based on class and field experience of the educational cruise and its data. Due to accessibility and visual limitations, remote sensing methods are playing an important role in understanding the marine environment. This course is made to introduce basic acquaintance with possible uses of geophysical imaging and mapping methods in several areas of marine environment research. The course will cover the abilities and limitations of variance methods while examine literature examples and the considerations while choosing the suitable method to research objectives. This course is open for students from diverse discipline with basic mathematical and physical knowledge.
